How to apply for Uppsala BIO-X
Funding by Uppsala BIO-X is normally advertised once a year. The call for proposals specifies whether a particular area of life science is being prioritized. The 2009 applications were open to all applied aspects of the field. Calls are always posted on the Uppsala BIO Website.
You apply by simply expressing your interest. Download the 2009 form below.
Projects are judged on the basis of their commercial potential, likelihood of success, cross-functional aspects, and scientific height.
All applications received are reviewed by our Scientific Advisory Board. The most highly ranked proposals are invited to present their projects in more detail. The Scientific Advisory Board then give their final judgment on projects presented.
Final decisions regarding which project or projects will be accepted are made by the Uppsala BIO Steering Group.
Uppsala BIO is eager to see all its applicants develop further. All applicants are therefore offered an advisory package. Its contents are tailored to the particular needs of each project.
